Walk the Land

Etz Hayim Synagogue celebrates Israel at 65

On Sunday May 5, from 11 AM - 4 PM, Etz Hayim Synagogue is planning to celebrate Israel’s 65th anniversary! It will feature a ceremony commemorating Israel’s independence followed by a walk which, metaphorically, follows the geography of Israel. Following the ’walk’ there will be Israeli food, dancing, music, goods and tables featuring Israeli products at the synagogue.

The theme of the walk is Walk the Land-Celebrate Life!

This is part of the world-wide walk for Israel in honor of Israel's 65th birthday. It explores Israel's gifts to the world in Creating Life, Sustaining Life, Saving Life, Preserving Life, Enhancing Life, Protecting Life, Improving Life, Cherishing Life, Nurturing Life and Beautifying Life.
