Etz Hayim Men's Group events are open to all adult men in the Etz Hayim community
The men's group is a social group for the male members of Etz Hayim Synagogue. All adult men in the congregation are invited to attend our gatherings. The non-jewish partners in our member families are encouraged to attend.

How do you like those apples!!
On an overcast Sunday noon October 6, 2013 the Men’s Group of Etz Hayim gathered at the home and orchard of Paul and Kim Martin to first pick apples and then watch the New England Patriots’ play the Cincinnati Bengals. Those gathering bags of apples included David and Jacob Riese, Mark Aronson, Pete Wasserman, Steve Soreff, Al Sandler, Jon Kane, Henry Biagi, Jay Madnick and Stan Chamrin. Peggy Tucker also joined the picking party taking fallen apples to make apple crisp for Elijah’s Table.
The group then moved inside to munch on mutually provided snacks and watch a painful game in which the Patriots lost 6 to 13. The group plans to continue to meet every other month on Sunday mornings. The group enjoyed a delicious day and worked on core issues.
The newly formed Etz Hayim Synagogue Men’s Group held a water adventure morning at the lakeside home of one of our temple members. We were welcomed by our host with a breakfast of bagels and muffins. We did or attempted to do some water skiing and then some thrilling tubing behind Captain’s power boat. Later Al gave us a tour of the magnificent Big Land Pond. The morning concluded with Al barbequing some kosker franks, hamburgers and veggie burgers. The weather was perfect for a summer day and the was refreshing and welcoming. A great time was had by all.
On a warm, pleasant June 23, Sunday afternoon, the newly formed Etz Hayim Men Group gathered at the Faucher Road entrance to Londonderry’s Musquash Conservation Area. They hiked and talked for about one and one half hours which was about three miles.
