Been doing some summer cleaning? Having a hard time getting to Goodwill or the Chester Swap Shop, but coming to the synagogue for services, Hebrew school, or the annual meeting? Let us help you help others.
Jun 13-July 13, bring your gently used clothing, shoes, children’s toys and games, recently published books in excellent condition, DVDs, small furniture, small appliances, jewelry, linens, household goods and home decor, and Chavurat Ezrah will bring it to the Marion Gerrish Thrift Shop in Derry. There will be a box in the lobby for smaller items and space in the basement for larger things.
You can also drop off during office hours - Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM - or check the calendar for when the building is otherwise occupied.

MEMBERS ONLY: Please join us for this important meeting - we will be voting for the 2025/26 budget, new officers and directors, and other important agenda items. The meeting will be followed by a picnic lunch with our neighbors at the Church of the Transfiguration.

Etz Hayim’ Synagogue’s 15th Shabbat Service and Kayaking on Pawtuckaway Lake will be held Saturday, June 28, 2025, at 9:30 AM at the lakeside home of Peggy Tucker and Steve Soreff, in Nottingham, NH. This will be rain or shine. We will kayak and canoe to a lake island and hold a Shabbat Service. Bring your own watercraft, chair, and snack. There are a limited number of kayaks and one canoe to borrow.
Please RSVP to Steve Soreff by emailing soreffs15[at]aol.com or call 603-895-6120 by Wednesday, June 25 by 6:00 PM to reserve your spot and obtain the address. If you are bringing your own vessel, please come at 9:00 AM to get it in the water so we can start services at 9:30 AM.
